For 800 I would do it. I saw one for 600 once but I was young and dumb.

Yea when i saw the one for 800 down here i jumped all over it. He originally quoted me 1000 for it all, then when i got there he was like i shot a little high *Thinking to myself that was low also* didn't say anything he was like 700 if you take it all out or 800 if we take it out, was like here is the 100 get it out give me a call when you are done lol

The interior was pretty immaculate considering, dash had a small crack towards the back where it meets the windshield did a little interior repair can't notice it, seats were a little hard but no rips or tears just over time add conditioner they softened up real nice. I wanna get the interior kit for it when i get some extra cash and do the perforated seats, but i used my old steering wheel dyed it black and did a little custom black wood around the wheel it self in certain spots came out real Nice! Door panels were awesome carpet had a little worn spot by the driver foot rest but other than that, Was ecstatic to find this on craigslist. So now its a modified Unicorn lol.

If you can source an interior for less than 1500$ [without airbags, but COMPLETE] you've done good...

LOL! I just sold a dash, armrest & the seats this weekend for 700$... Still have knick knacks left, but in the end i will average an easy 1500$+ for the interior less the airbags.

Gotta love the US deals! And cheap gas too!

I've done it myself as well. Paid just over 2K for mine, but it was in really good shape, and I had to have it shipped from NY. Man that was a big *** pallet!!

I went from a 98 tan to 04 perffed black. Extra wiring work involved. And some pieces won't fit (ie, A pillars). The dash was the biggest issue. My new one didn't have the harness already in place so I had to disassemble my tan dash, and completely remove the harness, and then install it to the black one. So many screws!!! And swapping the airbag was no fun either. I plan on recovering the gray top half in black soon. I can't stand the gray either.

$800 for a good interior is a smoking deal!! Just take TONS of "before" pictures for reference, so you'll be able to see how things should look when you put them back together.

And get a bunch of zip lock bags with labels!! you'll have tons of screws, bolts, nuts, and small pieces. Staying organized might take a bit more time, but in the end it'll be easier.

Go for it!! If you were local, I'd offer to help.
