HELP! What to use for converting to Single Din Radio?
Hey guys i went to Best Buy, Frys, Local Car Audio Shop...and asked if they have a GS300 Radio Harness and they don't have any and ive seen in google images a GS300 with a Single Din Radio...i bought the Bracket an everything already and i need a Adapter that hooks up into the GS Harness and the other end i just hook it up to the Alpine Harness...Let me kno plz guys thanks!...
im guessing its a Female into alot of wires to connect....let me kno plz thanks!

Well walmart has one that fits for like $7, as well as crutchfield, ebay, etc.. BestBuy has ones that fit to power it up they prob just assumed you meant a complete plug and plug 'makes everything work' harness, what you need is just called toyota 89 and up or something like that. I hooked one up in a guys GS for him he picked up at walmart, worked just fine.
Remember though all a harness is gonna do for is get you +12v/ACC/GND/ILL feeds. You basically have 3 choices to power the speakers. 1) run new wires to the speakers from the headunit 2) run wires from the head unit to the glovebox where the cars stock amp is and feed the speaker from those wires or 3) run rca's to external amps.
There is a ton of info on this site about installing a head unit if you search for it. As it's slightly more involved then most cars.

i plug that into the GS300 Main Harness and line up those end wires to the AfterMarket Alpine Radio Harness? an then i have to do either 1 of those 3 steps u said? or should it just power everything normally?...if u said hooking up a wire to stock AMP to power my 4 speakers i would be willing to do that so it can hit better/louder if thats what your saying...Hhaha let me kno plz confused and excited for the stock amp to 4 speakers
