hey guys i kept being told that if i buy a swap it well drop right in and all i need is like 30 percent of parts to complete the swap im thinking on buying the jdm aristo tt swaps which ones drop right in and plug and play? where im from we have jdm engine corp and they got the full swap, auto tranny, harness, ecu and igniter im guessing and they told me im gona still need some other parts so if any of you guys can help me out so i can begin this journey my car has to much miles for 98 and how much should i be seeing the swaps for 2k? is that right?

Most people that do the GTE swaps do it right and keep the car or they do it, drive it for a few days and lock it up in their garage and then end up selling it with some problems; I'll fill you in:

1. Complete VVTi GTE; $2000-$3k
2. Oil pump, water pump and mix and match mounts; $500
4. Iridium Plugs; $80
5. Fuel setup; depending on what you want $???
6. Injectors $???
7. Standalone $??? unless you're on the gte ecu
10. Intercooler; $???
11. Custom Piping; $???
12. Wastegate; $???
13. BOV; $???
14. Transmission Cooler; $???
15. Driveshaft; $???
17. Downpipe $???
18. Wideband; $???
19. Oil fittings; $???
20. GTE water pump/neck weld; $100
21. Radiator hoses; $50
22. Custom midpipe; $???
23. Supra throttle cable; $60
24. Battery blanket; $75

The $??? you might not need, but thats with some stuff missing and maybe I over added on parts/labor, but the above is generally what is put into a car thats in good running and tuned condition. That price is without the car tuned...

You really should've searched before you posted this. There are way too many threads on this topic. $2k for engine and tranny is just the start of your swap. You're gonna need a lot more for misc parts and labor.
