Default "Installed K&N Intake"

I recently bought the K&N intake system, and installed it today. I LOVE IT

The sound that this thing makes is incredible. To me it sounds like a bad *** muscle car, it has that kind of tone to it. I also do notice a slight performance increase. Especially when accelerating from say 30-60mph. There is a noticeable difference there.

Just wanted to let you guys know, because I always see posts asking whether or not they should purchase a Cold Air Intake. So I say yes, buy it, you wont regret it.

That's great news I keep reading everywhere that the 2jz doesn't do well with slight mods like exhaust and intake. I have a stock 2gs and been looking to do some mods. Thanks for the info.

Just to let you know I have a gs400 not a gs300, so I have the UZ series v8 not the 2jz inline 6 that you're you're talking about.

From what I've been reading, "bolt on" upgrades are pretty beneficial to the Gs400

How much did you get it for? + How loud did it get? I'm trying to get more sound without buying a exhaust system. Delete my resonator sounds good, nice and low tone but could use more sound.

i have the same intake on mine as well. it does have that sick muscle sound. whenever i put some gas on it, people look and are astonished to see a lexus make that kind of sound. it definitely turns heads. i love it.

I paid like 229 for my intake. I found it on autoplicity.com. It gives off a nice rumble. Not to loud but just right!! When u punch it, it sounds like a race car
