Exclamation Clicking when I push on brakes

Where the automatic shifter is I hear a click everytime I press on the brakes. Lightly too, I might add. Just pushing down a bit. Im not driving when I do this so Im assuming it does this as well i just cant hear it. It sounds like its coming right from the top part of the gears just under the plastic part where you shift. Like I can almost put my finger through and grab what it is.

I got worried as there seems to be some give when I put the car in park and like Im on a hill. It rolls a tiny bit. I put the parking brake on but maybe thats normal and nothing to do with this click.

I believe what you are hearing when u press the brake is to let u take the car out of park so u can put it in gears.
