Gs400 mods which ones are the best
Im trying to get my 1999 gs400 to have more handling and better grip. Has anyone installed new strut bars that are really working for them as well as a sway bar. Also what is the best cold air intake for this beast and does anyone have a new exhaust on it.

i have a K&N intake on my GS400. but i heard that SRT is pretty good as well. it just depends on what you like and how much you are willing to spend. as for exhaust, i am about to purchase the M2 exhaust for like $369. but like i said, it depends on what you like.

I have the M2 exhaust and I'm about to get a SRT intake. If you want traction your best best is to get racing coilovers, sways, and struts. The best struts are the uniboby ones. I don't really care much about te brand. It all depends on how much you want to spend.

Only mods i got are K&N cai, upper lower strutbars, and a full borla exhaust that was over $2000, sounds unvelievable thats all i need.....I dont rock rims and other stuff, im on my grown man

Haha i would never put 20 inch rims on because those just look dumb and slow you down a lot.
Can you guys tell me which cold air intake is the best for performance i think i say a weapon R dragon intake and a k&N but i don't know which one is best.

how much money do you have to spend. you need to declare your budget first.
If i were you, i would first make sure everything is maintained right. HP returned through maintenance is cheaper than trying to get new HP.
Then, if you are completely stock, the first thing I would consider is shocks/struts if they are stock. Bilsteins for example.
If you want to adjust for appearance, consider spending more for either springs as well, or coilovers.
Next save up for better tires when you are ready to replace those. not rims, just actual performance tires.

Ill be able to save up for a long time so if it isnt above like 500$ than im good. Ill just tell you now im buy new coilovers.
I have maintained it and i have sea foamed it so theres no problem there plus that has nothing to do with the question.
And who would ever mod a car for aesthetic reasons unless your a honda boy.
And finally why would i save up or rims when in the previous post i said im not a loser who puts 20 inch rims on my car. Also why are you telling me to buy tires that has nothing to do with the question again.

i think between these two intake kits i would take the K&N. i have tha K&N on my car and i really like it. but i also heard that the SRT intake is pretty good as well, but a little more pricey as well.

Either way the K&N is a POS compared to the SRT. the true benefit of an Intake is the tuning.
Intake without supporting mods is a Waste of money
