Ok ... I can get a great deal on a virtually mint '01 GS430 steering wheel . Its tan and the same color wood, but missing the airbag and control stick thingy. From what I read the airbag will fit BUT how about the control stick?

How hard would it be to swap out the one in my 99 GS3 and install it on this new one if I get it? is there a write up somewhere? thanks

The 99 and 01 airbags are different shapes and the 01 is a dual stage and the 99 is single stage. The bomb is transferable from what I've gathered but if you don't have the airbag with the 01 wheel your old one will not he compatible.
