Default After installing SRT and Tanabe...

Medalion Touring...What would you say is a fair guesstimate in hp on a 400?
A) 320-330
B) 330-340
C)340-350

SRT says +30hp gains and not sure on the Tanabe(maybe +10?) but I would just like to get an idea how much I'm at. Maybe this may solve the inquiries of others with this same setup or who plan to. Thx for your input!

Throw headers into the mix and you might be at choice A.

Your car had a lot less than 300hp before you installed the intake and exhaust.

theres no way your going to get that main gain off just those few mods.

keep in mind no1 really talks about hp, its like using hours to talk about how long it takes you to run a mile. its all about WHP

Keep in mind a couple of things that are definite. Proven by me doing before and after dyno runs individually. Headers make around 15whp or 20 @ the crank, an Apexi A/F controller adds an additional 15whp if tuned properly. On an NA car you will most likely find an exhaust to make under 6whp. Intakes not much more. Keep these things in mind because it is pretty accurate. Install all these items and $2500 later and you should arrive at around 280 -285whp or 355hp @ crank. you guys dont think SRT and the tanabe would give an extra 20 HP @ the crank?

I mean if we were talking at the wheels definitely not. but I think its feasible.

I've still gotta get my car dyno'd before and after SRT install so I guess I can use those results to bump back up this thread in a while..

I use my butt dyno, but I've been in fully built awd rb26's that go sideways even in 5th gear....

your honestly probably 260-70 at the wheels.... exhaust without headers only give a couple of HP

Haha, word! RB26TT's are just raw edge!!!!! Had the pleasure to drive one while in Japan.

I'm figuring with an exhaust alone you are only gonna get about a 5-6 whp gain. Not much else. SRT + Tanabe exhaust won't get ya 20 ponies however

I think some PPE Headers, a Dragon TC, and an Apexi A/F controller with a proper tune maybe in the future plans after I've $tacked up for a while but we'll see. I did however sell a bunch of stuff in the classifieds recently tho

Definitely at least 2 stickers for now tho! Lol

car prolly gets 240 wheel anyways stock... with those mods maybe breaking 250 wheel factoring wear n tear already.

so.. D less than above.

get some headers, and a AFC/NEO n ull get more gains.

Pardon my ignorance but was is an SRI and a Tanabe??

I hope the SRI is not just an intake tube with a K&N filter. Or is an SRI an actual intake manifold?
