Just curious because I am a n00b when it comes to pretty much anything cars.....
It's going to cost too much to pay someone to do it unless you just have too much money to blow. They charge shop labor from the time they get in your car to the time they put on the last screw. That means you are paying them when they are taking out your seats, door panels, etc. How many hours can that take? Easily 20+...

When I was working at the radio shop we charged the price of the sound deadening for labor. So if you purchased a bulk pack, about $200 it cost $200 to put it in so about $400. That was for one layer. In my personal car we did 2 layers everywhere and then a third layer on the roof. We used about 7 bulk packs in my car. Of course I didn't pay retail for the materials and I did all the work myself with friends.

Don is a great guy to deal with but he is terrible with email. Best chance you have is to email him in the morning time. Sometimes I have to email him a second time, but he is a stand up guy for sure, and his products are excellent. I actually have an order of butyl rope and carpet tape that is leaving today for wiring up my speakers.
+1

Buy the CLD tiles and add them a little at a time. Generally, you only need to cover 25% of the surface area to reduce vibrations. Of course you can just as easily add more if that's not enough.
