New here! Picking up a 99 Lexus GS300 next week. What would you guys recommend for my first mod. I'm thinking either lowering or getting some new shoes. Which would you guys do first?
I would suggest this order:
1. tailights
2. spoiler(s)
2.suspension
3.wheels/tires
4.tint or no tint
5. aero kit
6. everthing else........
Which spoiler? like the lip? I'm not sure if i want a fully body kit. Do they make lips for the back? I like the front lips I see 'TTE' i believe... I've been cruising the site for the past few weeks.
That's the route i think i'm going to go. Not sure about the turbo though.
Oh you will. You don't have it yet to realize how unbelievably slow a GS300 actually is despite being 220hp. It's ok on the freeway but just about everything else on the road leaves the 300 in the dust driving around town and from a dead stop. If you have no desire to do an engine swap or na-t then I would highly recommend getting a 400/430 instead..

Here's mine almost 3 years ago when I first got it and it is just lowered w/ stock wheels. After I bought it I parked in the garage and had no intention on driving this thing until it was lowered, it didn't move an inch until I put the coilovers on.
Even with stock wheels the height makes it a whole different vehicle, I was constantly getting compliments on the car totally stock but slammed.
1.lowered it
2.temp wheels ( by temp i mean..a decent used set u can pick up for 800-1500 bucks)
3.window visors
4.LED tail lights
5.removed stock wing
6.new fitted wheels (after researching what u really want)
i think those were the main things i took care of first..and little things along the way like..HID kits for headlights n fogs and little LED accents here n there..debadging n stuff like that..good luck and happy modding!
