Tires rubbing on steering knuckle please help!
Ok so yesterday I replaced my inner and outer tie rods, lower ball joints and swapped the rubber bushings from trailing arms (caster arm or control arm #2) to poly. After all done I slapped the 22s back on and now the tires are rubbing on the nut on the steering knuckle right above them (both sides). What the hell is causing this?! I went under and threw the most positive camber I could just to clear it enough to get me to the alignment shop and let them worry about it... No luck I already have spacers and cant go any further.
What can I do for some more clearance and what do you think is causing this? If I understand correctly, tie rods wouldnt change camber right? Idk, ive been without a car for two weeks, I dont need anymore headaches... Hope this is a simple alignment issue.
Thanks

Caster changes can affect camber. Since you changed the caster arm bushings to poly from the old rubber ones maybe it was enough slop taken from the old ones to make the difference, but I would think you were very close to touching previously.
Unfortunately there is no adjustment for caster on these cars unless you buy the Ikeya formula arms.
But defiantly get it aligned and see what they can do.
