Probably, but an LSx will fit for probably a quarter the price

I dont think fitting is the problem, its finding the mounts (if they're different) I'm sure it fits because its much smaller than the V8's that are already in there.

going drive by cable to drive by wire....

interesting to know too because GS430 is also drive by wire.
