Default New TTE grille.

NOW, I’m finally happy with my grille – the new TTE grille. Took forever to get (from Steve at Carson) but I think that the wait was worth it.

The grill looks sweet! Did it come with the Lexus emblem?

That kind of looks like the L-Tuned grill I was looking at. Is it me or is there a large gap on the bottom there?

Default Info on TTE

Chu - Closeup picture below shot in my garage with a halogen flood - really screwed up color but you can see some of the mesh.

Ordered from Steve at Carson - took about 2 mos. to get - cost $358 unpainted and does not come with "L" - bought "L" from Steve for $15.00 more.

This grille is high quality (compared to the RMM) - mesh is pre-cut and fits flawlessly. All necessary hardware came with it (again, RMM didn't include hardware and you had to cut mesh yourself). The appearance of a "gap" is due to the shadow effect from shooting at noon the original pictures and the bumper actually curves inward below the grille - so there's nothing wrong with the grille's fitment.

Yes, it is similar to the L-Tuned - I think the difference is the depth of the mesh and thickness of the grille itself.

Personally, this is now my permanent grille - I worked through the oem, the "chromed" oem, and the RMM and finally found MY PERFECT GRILLE - I really like it.

Nice Really give the GS's "face" a lot more personality... Kinda like your GS is going  because it's so impressed with it's own looks. I like it.

Guru / Garnet:

I've attached a picture of my GS with the L-tuned grill below... IMO I don't think the TTE looks too much like it? No bar, mesh is very different, etc.

Is there another grill you guys are thinking about that is similar to the TTE, or is there another L-tuned grill I don't know about?

Gotta stay current on my grills . BTW Garnet - looks great!

After quick bit of detective work... I bet you guys are thinking about the L-sportline grill (pic below), not the L-tuned:

That "L-xxxx" will get you every time!
