Took the words right out of my face! Tire still has ~20% tread, but you can see a smooth edge where the rip is. It was just a matter of time.

When you stretch a tire and run camber you HAVE to check your tire pressure weekly. Too low of a pressure it'll unbead itself or just tear it apart.

It feels like a blindside on a random morning. I last put some air on monday before work. Drove a bit aggressive on tuesday adding up with the slight dent on my rim. I havent drove at all until thursday, which all leads up to this.

Cheap tire. Run flat damage. Bent wheel. I'm sorry to hear that.

The same thing happen to me with a brand new set of Toyo's. I had them installed by a tire company which did'nt seal my tires correctly, needless to say the night was cold and tire pressure went low and i ended up with two rear blowouts on the highway! that sucked major A**. i only had one spare. Thank GOD the tire company replaced my rear tires at no cost.

I agree with tire pressure....I run 215/40 on a 9.5 and 225/40 on a 10.5 on my 18's....I keep tire pressure at 45 psi...i used to run 225/35 and 235/35 on my 19s setup and 45 psi as well....the only time I ever had a flat was when I would ride the tire to the wire....which I already knew would happen....alignment and tire pressure will be your best friend in the stretched game...

So.. anyone can guestimate on how much you think these rims are worth? Jp scaras, popped tire with a slight dent, 3 tires needing replacement, no center caps, and in need to be refurbished?

Selling them on local places but i have no idea how much i should price it.

Scary I run a 255/35 on a 18X10 and periodically check tire pressure.... Now this just validates that.... Highway is gonna check his TP tonight before hitting the Highway. lol

Low air pressure, maybe misaligned cause this to more then likely happen. Especially since you basically drove it flat.

post pictures of the wheels...If they are Scaras the older style you might get a little bit depending on condition...I have the discontinued style in 19s full polished and have been offered 2,200...BUT it is very hard to sell them when they are messed up because unlike other companies like Works...the bolt pattern for the Scaras are different so it is harder to find lips and barrels and such...ALSO...the older Scaras are 3 pc welded so you cannot just dissassemble and replace stuff...When mine got damaged I had 2 spare Scaras and used the lips and inner barrels on those...the rims had to be cut and turned into full 3pc design...I hope that made sense...Good luck!
