No, I only removed the big mounting knuckles but kept the screw holes as they are so you still can use them to mount the lip.

i checked them out on ebay and they are about 180 or more. kinda spendy for a replica.

Looks good, i got mine this past weekend and will try to install this week. Im glad i found this thread, when i put it up against the bumper it fit funny so ill try to get rid of those bumps as well.
