Hey guys,
I'm not sure if I was suppose to post here or the audio section, so moderators please adjust accordingly. I just bought a vaistech kit last week and got a chance to install it over the weekend. Thanks to the forum, I was able to to remove the radio and the center console easily. Since it has been helpful to me these years, I wanted to give back and show how I hid the wires for my install.

I pushed the wires behind the bar behind the ashtray and ran the module on the left side in front the gear shift box. I then ran the wires the side on the left and ran it through to the back of the box. I was happy with how the install looked and also the quality of sound that comes through. Tell me what you think.

Thanks,
Johnny

So how do you like the way it works ? I have mine but for some reason everytime i turn it on it starts playing the same song from a playlist. I have to disconnected and connected so I can change the songs manually but then I lose the steering wheel functions! Drives me crazy!!

I love mine. I was reading the differences between this and the grom unit about the audio codecs and went this route. I love the sound it produces. The bass sounds hella nice. Mine never had that problem. I have an old ipod nano hooked up to it and it remembers what track I had it on last. Song changes are quick too. Maybe your firmware is old or something. I just learned I can play podcasts too.

Yep. All plug and play. You just need to way to hide the wires and make it a clean install and that's it. It charges my ipod and iphone 4 as well. The most popular ones that I hear about is this and the grom unit. Grom has usb and bluetooth abilities, just in case you wanted to go the android route or stream your music via bluetooth.
