Default Has anyone did a DIY on battery relocation?

Looking to move my battery to the trunk area to take some weight off the nose. Has anyone done this before? If so, can you describe how you did it. Thanks!

You really just need a kit like Jegs with a box and breather hose. Drop the cable from the engine bay through the bottom, run along the chassis somehow and zip tie then drill or find a hole to run the cable back into the trunk from under the car. I have this setup on my Nissan. Not sure if i'd do this myself tho on my GS. Before doing anything get the weighed with corner scales to justify the move if ya can

Cool, but not into how he put it right smack in the middle of the trunk. I guess no spare tire.

Its still the idea dude, do exactly what he did and just route everything to where you want the battery.
