Default Who runs single ground spark plugs?

I searched but didn't get a real answer. Will a single ground plug hurt my car? Who ran them with no problems? I'm on a tight budget and was thinking single platnium NGK's but at the same time wonder if i HAVE to get dual ground plugs.

Only applies to GS300.
Read this thread related to Wasted Spark:

Most people bend their brains choosing between the "iridium" single ground, versus the platinum dual ground as that is marketted as the "better" plug.

I don't think people usually bend their brains between single and dual platinum.

even so, most people will say no problems with any sparkplug choice out of the box, but it's the issues with lifespan that may get affected down the line.

The super racers go with cheaper copper plugs but change them much more frequently.

That being said, how much are you really saving choosing the single ground plat vs the OEM recommended dual ground plat? Put it in perspective, less than a tank of gas I imagine, or the price for labor to do the job

The double ground plug design is not about the number of ground electrodes - it's actually about exposing more of the flame kernel to the combustion mixture. There's nothing blocking the spark. In a conventional plug the electrode "hides" the spark from the mixture. There is better and faster combustion propagation with the double ground plug.

if you know how to switch out your plugs quickly just go copper and change em frequently, Copper offers the best performance in my experience.
