I pulled the badges off my 300 and once I got all the residue off I found that the glue had actually burned through my clear coat and after wet sanding starting with 1000 and working my way to 3000 I found that the outline of the old badges was only shinier... so i put the old badges back on and plasti-dip'd them with flat black... not what I originally wanted, but looks good.
