Will a 2001 gs Airbag fit a 2002 rx steering wheel please help
iam doing a upgrade i got a 2002 rx 300 steering wheel that i bought but only the wheel wood grain no air bag will the gs air bag fit thanks

no it wont.. someone tried it before on an old thread and there was huge gaps and looks really bad on it... i have an RX wheel on mine and i love it, just thought id share

Yes the 01+ GS air bag will fit the 02 RX. HOWEVER the air bag harness plug is not the same. I currently have the air bag from a 01-03 RX in my 00 GS with 01+ steering wheel and its a perfect fit. The 98-00 GS is a single stage air bag whereas the 01-05 GS is a dual stage. The 01-03 RX has the same shape as the 01+ GS however it is a single stage making it compatible with the 98-00 GS.
