Rattling from exhaust piping due to scraping
Recently my 2003 GS300 started having a rattling noise when idling as well as accelerating. The noise is coming from beneath the car between the driver and passenger door. I'm pretty sure it has to do with my exhaust scraping over speed bumps over time. How can this be fixed? Thanks for your inputs
This is what I can see looking down from the driver side door.

Looks like a clamp on your heat shield broke (or something that has to do with it). If you kind of pound on the side of the exhaust, you can tell where the rattle is exactly coming from.

yeah i had the same problem, but mine wasnt just the clamp itself. the actual heat shield was fallin off. so i removed the heat shield and i found out my resonator was clogged. cut that ish out and boom so much more airflow. i feel like the car breathes with its mouth open instead of breathin through a straw. lol
but after all that, i still have a rattle. when i go from P to D it rattles lol, i believe its the metal piece holding the exhaust to the body ehh
