So after waiting patiently. Not really I am going to pick my trans up tomorrow morning. We have the motor drained and ready to be pulled. Trans out and pretty much everything I can think of to do the swap. Gonna be putting the motor in tomorrow and going as far as possible. Its about time. I feel like I've been waiting years lol. I'm defiantly gonna be posting the progress when I have time. It may be a dream but I'm hoping to have motor trans rear fuel pump and lines and tranny cooler lines ran tomorrow. We will see how things go. Hope everyone has a good weekend. Ttyl

Yea long *** day is the word for it. Had a good time though. got the motor out> 2jz in trans Mounted and up. Front mount mounted and 75% piprd. Atkeast the hard part. Not that any is easy. We started a lil after noon. did new timing belt waterpumo and the yanked the old gte. Put in motor only then trans which worked out great. I'm beat or id write a little more but im gonna post up a few progress pic and get back at it tomorrow. I want to finish the FMIC and tranny cooler and put my bumper back on. I'm gonna get some flex a lite fans and lose the hideous factory ones. They take up way to much space. Still a bunch more to do next weekend but once i finish the FMIC i think its ready to fire it not run for long nut jsut on off. Also FYI the GTE and Ge starters are not the same so make sure you get a starter with swap. You should but we tried using the ge one. Theylook almost identical but the bols ore not offset the same ands it hits something. Wont work!.

Here are a few. I have more but ill put them up all at once. Oh and a huge fyi The aristo vvti jap motor has plastic water pump impeller bades. Junk. If your doing the swap make sure you order atleast the front half of the water pump. I think it was only 65 bucks from drift motion. Well worth it if it save you from blowing your motor and overheating. ^5$ is peanuts compared to building a new motor!
