So my coilover came in the mail today! WOOT WOOOT!! cant wait till tomorrow to install it. anything i should know or do before i even attempt this install? whats preload?

My girl ripped my GENUINE TTE lip off and didn't even notice...I hope someone with a GS got a hold of it and its not in some trash can somewhere....

 

Ive had mine for a while havent installed it, got it painted and color matched. So what you did here was just drill new holes in the lip and into the bumper ? or is that part of the underbody plastic pieces ? I've shaved down the tabs to where it sits flush because those tabs were HUGE.

i'm glad ppl got good ones from them..ordered one of the first...lip wasnt big enough, and had an indentation all the way across the front...sent it back on them for a refund...good customer service though

I actually bought from the same ebay seller and it didn't fit either. I didn't have any luck with fitment (carbon fiber or PU) from multiple sellers until I went to a friend of mine in CA. Real Carbon Fiber and fits perfectly. No epoxy needed, just used the stock TTE lip mounting points and added two more towards the center. Fit is excellent and it doesn't move. I had to paint it white because it was going on my car, but all I wanted was for it to fit like the real thing.

I'm gonna make the GF buy it, she's the one who ripped it off! Had the damn thing on the car from 2009 to 2012. I let her have the car for one week and boom, gone !
