UPDATE: on page 2
Update on page 3
Sup guys! Decided to make a thread about my TTE lip. I bought a TTE Rep lip from Ebay and they sent me the wrong or super bootleg lip. I then returned it and they sent me the correct lip and now i finally have time to get this sucker on! i started with a Test fit and fitment is on point! Almost perfect im my opinion for a replica lip. lol! I then found this post https://www.clublexus.com/forums/aut...paint-job.html
and wanted to try this DIY out. I say.. If he can do then i can do it toO! hahaha! So far i Primered, wetsand with 2000grit, sprayed color and cleared. Now im just waiting for it to cure overnight and will start on it tomorrow after work. Still need to wetsand the clear to get rid of orange peel and buff and polish it to a gloss shine. So far so good! pictures are in order so no one gets confused. I will post more pics of the finish product and pictures of the lip on the car. Just wanted to share my Experience.

Thomas. What I did was grind off the three stupid mount or knuckles so it can be flat. Then I just screw three screw in the bumper next to the three knuckle locations. It fits perfect and I didnt need double sided tape to hold it up or,to have it flush with the bumper. Just add the screws to the each side and bam fits like a glove. Lol. I will use double sided tape after I finish painting it though just for extra security. Will post pics after I wetsand and polish. Fyi im not a professional painter so I hope to have good result with this diy.

I was careful enough that I screw it to the bumper right above the plastic undercover. Im still able to remove the plastic under cover after I installed the lip. Hopes that helps. I will have pictures for u too later after work so I get the idea of where to screw it in.

yeah i have the rep tte lip as well. just do what cptcrunch did lol really simple.
alot of people are actually molding in the lip to the bumper.
i was thinking about doing that as well but i figured since im going on air
and i might just scrape the front, i might as well not mold it because if it does
get damaged it means you gotta buy a whole new entire bumper plus the lip!
just bolt it on! lol
