hey guys, since i put LED parkers in my car i have noticed my drivers side one is always blue wheres as the passenger side is white. (have tried changing LED globes etc)
now i never really took that much notice of this even though it did annoy me untill i tried to install HID fog lights into my car today, i installed one side, tested and worked fine, tried the other side and nothing, mixed and matched every thing and all signs pointed to the ballast, so i got a new one and tested it and still nothing. mixed it and again all signs pointed to ballast again not working, so i called up the supplier and he was like the ballast you gave back works on his car fine.
now i left the working ballast in there and put the stock halogen globe in the opposite foggie and they both work.

the weird thing is the working HID works on both foggies when i swap them around and the broken one dosent work on either.

any one have any idea ? could i have gotten 2 dodgy ballasts in a row or could it have some thing to do with my off coloured parkers.....im lost?

did u test the hid bulb out as well? also test the pins in the connection of the hid harness for that side and make sure it is making full contact.

 

tried swapping every thing around, once again all signs point to being a dodge ballast for the 2nd time but like my friend said, he tried my 1st ballast and he said it was working fine. was thinking i might have some bad wiring and im not getting enough juice to power up the ballast for the hid?
