Your rubber hangers are probably messed up?

Zip tie the exhaust hanger to the other hanger. But don't do it tight, just enough to bring it up.

I got the exhaust right the mid pipe was upside down,

I am going to do this to make it perfect, it is still just a little tad off and will probably bring it up though sounds awesome.

what people normally do is loosen up all the screws... shake the exhaust around until it lines up... and bolt up little by little across all the bolts.

^^^^This.

It's how you do it, wayyy easier on a lift, but can be done on the ground. Loosen everything and go around loosening/snugging the sections while moving and adjusting the tips into place. It can take alot of time and checking/rechecking to get perfect. But the Greddys are built great, they will line up with some work unlike the ebay exhaust(s) that I've had to cut/bend/weld to make fit better cause they were not even close to fitting properly.

New rubber hangers for the mufflers and y-pipe can make a difference as well if the are old, cracking, or dried out.
