Default Vsc.vsc off, check engine ! No start help !!

Hi Club lexus memebers, I have a problem with my 2003 Lexus gs300 Sports design. This problem had just happen to me. My car wont start up it will just keep cranking.battery seems fine, but i will go get it checked out at autozon.e doesnt seem like the starter is going bad, if i try to keep cranking it wont work until a few minutes later or so. im not sure what the problem is. it finally started up after a few tries but then the VSC, VSC OFF , and Check engine light came on. i dont know why. it drives normally though. not sure what the problem is. also i hear like a water running noise behind my dash where the radio is. im not sure if that noise is normal or not. but if someone here can help me out that would be awesome. thanks so much !

apparently for some reason the lights went away. I just replace the battery hopefully that would help with the start up. my battery was at 100 percent charge but it said it was a bad battery. turns on normally like a charm. so far so good. but I still have the problem with the noise behind the radio of the dash sounds like a tape cassette spinning or water running not sure what it is. still trying to figure it out if anyone can help

dude you have some kind of sensor out...cam position sensor, mass air flow sensor, ect... you need to get the code then someone on here can help you...could also be fuel pump...

like the first thing they ask you when you call tech support....is it pluged in???------

are you sure there's gas in it?

yeah, sounds like a MAF sensor, my GS sport design did the same thing. I actually unplugged it myself and did trial and error.

@cschroder : yeah what your saying is correct i took it to the shop this morning, and they replace the clip that connects for the crank sensor. ill take a picture and send it so everyone can see. he said something about clip was lose so everytime i try to start the car the engine would shake and the sensor from the clip would not read. and as for the noise behind the dash. its because of the motor behind the dash for the ac/heater. the mechanic was telling me that since the heater isnt working the motor is trying to go back and fourth to hot and cold. which is causing the motor to make some noise behind the dash.

@giolex : yeah its the clip that conncets to the crank sensor or something like that like i said ill try to take a picture to show you guys . yeah my car was driving fine as well but sometimes it would have a hard time starting up. from what he was telling me when he showed me the clip was fried or going bad to where when you try to start the car the engine would move so which makes the clip wiggle and not let the magnets hit. so all he did was changed out the clip for me and bam ! all good all lights were gone. now the only thing i would have to fix is that noise behind the dash which is the heater/ac motor he said its 300 to fix so he told me to come back and do it in the winter. lol
