Its not a big deal i'll see it when i open the other one. Just thought i'd ask. The only reason why i didnt pay attention was out of excitement... For someone like myself who would rather toss money at someone to do this... Taking this project on is actually fun - i plan to keep it that way. My next update on this thread will be of the final night shots, until then Thanks for looking folks.

Bulbs haven't come in yet so no night shots but i finished this yesterday and still wanted to share. Between the two days i got to work on this it was about 8 hours work. First are pictures of the clips i was asking about with the luxury mods bracket

This is the bottom clip the slides over the lil rod and this side should be facing up if ur looking down from over top of the headlight

This side faces down if you are looking over the top of the light. The rod sits in the groove and this drops right over it.

This clip goes right above the previous clip with the arrow side facing up

This is the same clip but slide in the outter slot facing this way up

Im not happy with the bulb seal on the back but it'll have to do till i find a better way to cap this. Im more concerned with dust building up inside.

Dust is the least of your problems. Its moisture you're gonna have problems with. You can use the cap that came from factory, just need to modify it a bit. Theres a little diy on it. All you need to do is find some pvc piping thats the same size and use it like an extension.

Got this idea from a post in 2005 that Joshoowa did... 3" rubber plumbing cap. It required some cutting and trimming but sits nicely in the grove where the original cap went. Once my bulbs arrive i'll figure out how i want to run the wires out. Gonna clean this up and smooth out the rim.

Just to confirm, your LS430 brackets CAME with these clips?
I ordered mine a few months back - and only got the aluminum brackets. Wondering if I needed to contact LuxuryMods

Thanx bro - u got this all it takes is time. Opening the headlight is easy... Its grinding and cutting the turn signal down that took me the most time. Mostly because i had a low end grinder and the grinding stones werent getting it done.

Just buy a set of oem headlights here and take ur time. Then u can just sell ur current lights and get some money back. Lemme know if u have questions. Mr. Jokster's DIY and some tips from a couple others is all i went off of. Good luck - i think i saw u mention wanting to do this a few months back... Only took me about 8hrs - u should go for it!

Np - u know u can get ur lights off without taking the bumper of right? There is a easy step by step in the DIY section. Just start early in the morning and u can mount um back that night.
