Default Alighnment Help.

I recently replaced my upper control arms, lower ball joints, outer tie rods so, I needed an alighnment done. I went to Toyota dealer to have the alighnment done but after the alighnment job the car shakes at 65 MPH and the steering wheel off to the right a tad. is that normal for after the alighnment or they did not do it right? Should I bring the car back and have them check the alighnment again?
When I replaced the outer tie rods I turn both of the inner tie rods clockwise and counter clockwise because I did not know how to take those apart at first and i lost track of where it supposed to be. I did not mark the tie rods. Would this have anything to do with the steering wheel off to the right a tad even after the alighnment job done? I'm curious of what they have to do when they do the alighnment?

Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

These cars are notorious for steering wheel shakes, the other im not sure, others will have to chime in..
New tires and alignment took my shakes 95% away

have you had any of this problems before change?
shake at 65mph is very common on 2gs

Don't be sorry. Your english is lightyears better than a lot I've seen on here, some of whom english is their first language.

I would suggest taking the car back to Toyota to have them realign the car. If they didn't do it properly, why should you pay the price?

Thomas, thank u very much for answering most of my posts in this CL forum. Im new to our second gen GS so, I do have a lot of questions to ask for help from experience members like u. I really like the GS4 cuz of it quality n look thats why i do all the maintenances one by one so i can keep the car in longevity. My posts of questions had helped me gain a lot of knowledge about our car. I did most the works DIY from the help of forum moderators and pleasant CL members like u. Once again, thank u

The guy did not lock the steering wheel in a straight ahead position when he did the alignment that is why it's off. It is their fault unless you have a tire issue. Just make sure that to test for steering straightness you are on a flat road and no wind.

Serious? When you order Chicken and get beef do you have to ask if something is wrong? Not to be rude but there's no other way around it.. I don't get some of you guys..BTW even if your knowledge about cars is extremely low...Its Common Sense..No? Or do you think is Normal for you car to drive like Crap after you go in SPECIFICALLY for that service...

go back and get it done right, get an alignment sheet or specs of some sort after the alignment

Def go back, I do alignments all the time and honestly out cars are pretty easy, an alignment will not make your car shake. Component failure or wear will

Exact the same thing happened to me, when I had pretty much the same job done on my car. Turned out to be quite simple - when the mechanics were removing ball joints, they had to hammer them out and some of the rust got loose between brake rotors and hub (quite a bit of rust, about 2-3mm layer).

Removed the rotors, grinded them smooth of rust, along with the hubs and problem solved.

Couldn't agree more! It get's difficult reading the text message shorthand and terrible spelling and grammar that's becoming more and more common these days. Maybe I'm getting old but I don't always speak properly but I do my best to write properly.

I agree with the others who've suggested taking it back to the dealer. Politely let them know what problems you're having and they should do whatever they can to fix it. The steering wheel issue should be easy, the shake may not be quite as simple. If you read around here it's a very common problem and a lot of members have spent a lot of time trying to eliminate it, some with more success than others.

My steering wheel was off to the right after I did my UCA, LBJ, tie rods...but the car did not shake at 65MPH
I have Problem after the alighnment done

My tires are pretty even wear. Tires are new as well, Your input is very useful. I'm learning something new from Your suggestion. Thanks Sam

Och, I did the ball joints myself and I used the pitman arm puller to separates the ball jointS so I don't believe rust on rotors is the issue.

Thanks for the suggestion. I will definitely ask for sheet of specs if I go back and have it done again.
