on the 300 its a breeze. The 400 requires removal of both camshafts. Took me two full days to complete the job as I was taking my time with it. While I was in there, I replaced the valve cover gaskets/grommets, spark plug gaskets, crank and both cam seals. Fortunately no oil spilled on the belt so it didn't need any replacement. You can try Sewell and get a deal. While you are at it, get all of the above mentioned gaskets and seals and knock it all out at once.

^ Get a Lexus Repair Manual. It guided me through the entire job. That and just plain common sense will get you through it. If you do this job, take your time. Go at a very slow pace.

Will do I've seen you don't need to take the timing belt completely off
