i installed a brand new tail left (LEFT)
and two weeks after installed the top went out and needed to be banged to turn on
2 weeks after now no lights are on expect the turn signal....
HELP

Did you install them? From what I remember I changed my lights and wire harness but used the same old bulbs. Also if you touch lights with bare hands the oils from your skin cause them to get hotter than normal when you turn them on. Sometimes it makes them burn out.

I threw out my old taillights-- and never touched the actual new bulbs tho?.just banged the housing from outside

Make sure your wire are plugged in good. If it is could be a short somewhere also check your fuses.

If ur banging the housing to make the "bulbs" work... My guess is that u had the same agressive approach plugging in the wire harnesses and shorted a wire because banging the outside of a light lens should not turn a bulb on or off.

Well to put it in was "fairly" easy just plug and screw no force

If its oem lights.... Just change the bulbs? New or old they can go bad. It's just a small thin wire in the bulb so they can go bad.

This is happening to my old LED tails right now, if i bang on the light some parts will light back up then go off, i switched them out with new ones and the new ones ALL lit up with no problems, change the bulb and your good, very easy, if not, send it back and get another, u should have at least a 90 day warranty...
