Default Mod for al M2 Exhaust owners!

So recently one of my exhaust bolts fell out and I noticed that my exhaust got louder. I've been waning to have a louder exhaust so what I did is take off the gaskets between the Y-pipe and the mufflers and replaced them with washers about the same size. Now the car is LOUD. I set off car alarms from 25 feet away. If you don't want it that loud I suggest loosening the bolts and it will get louder. much deeper sound. I will post a video ASAP.

Doing this is just gives you exhaust leak, deadly fumes that can past through the cabin.

Similar to sitting in your garage (with it closed) and letting your car run.

Is this post serious?! That is a exhaust leak my friend! You could of achieved that with the stock exhaust as well. Lol PS that also hurts your gas mileage .

When you're moving its not going to get into the cabin and if I were to sit in my car with the car on not a lot of fumes would penetrate to the cabin.

This doesn't fart or else I wouldn't do it. Its actually really deep.

First, you couldn't achieve this with the stock exhaust because the M2 exhaust has 3'' piping vs the stock exhausts 2 1/4''. Second, this mod is far enough down the exhaust pipe that it wouldn't really affect the gas mileage; maybe 1 mpg. The Y-pipe is really close to the end of the car.

The fume will pass behind me when I'm driving and when I'm at a stop light the exhaust fumes are under the trunk not under the cabin so if I were to sit in my car long enough for the exhaust fumes to do anything they would be in my trunk not in the cabin.

i wouldnt classify this as a mod.. i mean.. u didnt modify anything. that thing just came loose.

ive had this happen to my car n was wondering why its louder. RMM muffler bolts were loose.

if you really want to louder without having things half bolted on get some headers and a better exhaust... or even custom one lol

I want to get headers but can't find any for the GS4. This is a cheap solution in the meantime.

You can do it on any car, just dont tighten it all the way.

Hit traffic and you will die.

Aww yeah, lets do this.
