Adding Navigation to a non Nav GS 300

The antenna plugs directly into the nav ecu. My goal was to use the unit for ac/stereo controls as my stock non nav stereo LCD is slowly dying and has annoying whine :/. If you want complete functionality, you’ll need to tap into a speedo wire and wire up the nav system audio to the speakers. Unfortunately I’m from from Europe, but I can provide you the schematics of the wiring so you can diy it. Good luck with your project nevertheless !

Hi, thanks for the additional info, I got it. I likely wouldn't use the nav either.. Hmm,, I may try to source the 2001+ Nav head-unit, I don't know when I'd get everything together, nor that I'm capable of wiring it up correctly, but I use a knowledgeable car audio guy who I"m sure would understand what to do w/the help of your schematics, if I could trouble you to send?

The instrument panel junction box has one free connector slot on non nav cars which you can use to get acc/rem etc. You can access it by removing the middle clock and ac, its right in the middle of it. If you need more help hmu.
