you can replace your knock sensors yourself however be forewarned it's gonna take some time and you have to be extremely careful on taking apart and putting together your motor again. There are several write ups for it mostly look at the starter write ups because it's the same thing. Here's a few tips that I learned from doing this twice and now about to be a third time: [B]Use toyota parts, I know they can be costly but they work 89615-30080, and make sure you replace the harness that connects to the knock sensor, and one last thing the knock sensor is a 27mm socket[/B} good luck man...you can do it if you're patient tho...

With two totally different motors, what motor are you talking about?
If folks would post the year, model, mileage, some history it would be helpful.
OP, if your post does nothing but generate more questions, you may never get the advice you need.
Help us help you. No one here is a mind reader, how the hell do we know if YOU can fix it. Do you even change your own oil?

So you read Minds? What motor does he have? You know this from his post? Yes im a watch dog for ignorance, like your post. It is serious when you give advice without even having all the information in order to properly assess the problem.
I really hope you know how to change your lightbulbs.
