Default Need help with shifter (upadate with video)

Okay so when I shift through my gears, the gear selector moves smoothly until I get to "m" (the gear which enables you to use tiptronic) at this point it takes a lot of effort to get it into gear, but when it's in the gear seems to be working fine. Also when I wiggle the shifter up or down it seems to slide into gear a little easier, but it will not glide straight across like it's supposed to. Other than that it will smoothly slide out of the gear, just not into it. Any suggestions or input would be awesome. Thanks

Alright so I found out its coming from this piece

Rubbing against this piece

So yeah, I'm guessing eventually it's just going to grind down the plastic. Guess I just have to live with it for now.

I would go in the classifieds of club lexus and someone parting out their car may have the parts you need another option is car-parts.com or you can buy them new at Sewell

Cool thanks. I'm still concerned at why this is happening though. If I buy a new one won't it just rub in the same place again?

I assume if you replace the whole thing it should work but you need to figure that out

Look at this
