Hi all,

I have a 2000 GS400 with the hard drive based NAV. How do you go about updating this? I see people talk about upgrading their DVD based NAV, but never talk of upgrading the HD based NAV. It would be great if I could just download the latest update!

I'd be willing to pay the normal update cost, of course.

My understanding is that you actually do a hard drive swap with the dealer. I have no first hand knowledge of this, but I beleive I read this on CL a while back.

thwang - dealer will do the swap. Cost at my dealer is $275 I think. I've bought 1 upgrade ('00) and got one free ('01 - the '00 one developed a 'bug' after a while). Each upgrade has been an improvement over the prior one.
