Default SRT intake HP gains

For those of u who have an SRT intake. What WHP gains are u getting? On it's online site, they proclaim about 15-20whp which seems unlikely. I had a K&N on it before but there was too much lag, so I was thinking about getting the SRT.

I also noticed that there dyno was way off. They have the stock whp on the gs4 at 226, when everywhere else they have the stock gs4 at about 238-240whp.

All I will say about the SRT intakes, are that they are ludicrously overpriced. And the only reason they show that large of gains, are because the piggyback ecu adjusts the timing and fuel maps just like a tuner.

I'll have to say buy it though, because as of now, that's your only option.

Sadly.

well isn't an alternative option is to have obx/ injen/ k&n and have it tuned with a apexi afc neo? isn't this a better option because you can tune it to work with what ever other mods you have? headers, down pipe, test pipe exhaust?

do u have a gs300 or 400/430?

for the 300, our options for intakes are pretty limited :/

The thing is, the apexi afc neo is 500+ dollars alone.

He's right though. You were gping to spend $600 on the SRT system, whereas spending $500 will help your power situation immediately, as well as suppliment any mods in the future.
