Just out of curiosity why do you miss the 400 more compared to the 430? Thanks

Clean 400. I've been a registered member for over 10 years and finally brought a 300. The build quaity is amazing on these cars. Congrats !

142 K but it feels like it is almost new... Drives really solid...This is my first V8. I cannot imagine why it took so long not looking into these cars before... I am liking it big time... Thanks for all the replies guys.

I had the 3 series all three of them leased 323's xi and never had any problems with them, other than the wheels were impossible to keep clean [ for a new car?] but I never had one with over 45K on them. I like the cars very much but I do not want to lease anymore... I am sick of car payments esp when I have to give it up at the end of the lease and start all over. I looked at both but I heard so many problems with high mileage bimmers, cost of repairs, other issues, and them being priced well over blue book. Plus I could not find anything close in my dollar range.

I got this GS for 6000 cash and hope to take it to 250K miles! I am really surprised at all of the advanced features a car from so long ago had. No one can believe that this thing is from 1998 it still looks stylish today. It looks like it could be a 2012 model sans the spoiler. A bimmer from 1998 looks out dated.
