Unhappy The Grinch is DEAD!!!!!!

on my way to my old office to pick up a fax (a life insurance quote....how ironic) some kind of animal darts out in front of me. a swerve to the left and a stab of the brakes leaves me and the car on our sides at the bottom of an embankment. i am so lucky to be alive. i had my sunroof open, even though it was sprinking. and as the car slid down the hill, i hit my head on a tree on the ground. im sore as ***** but other than that im ok. the car is completely totaled.......roof caved in, axle broken, all that. i am going to see what i can salvage like the intake, exhaust and sways. i now have to find a new car. im gonna go and throw up. please everyone be careful.........

My jaw joins yours on the floor, I can't believe it!

Sounds like you are OK though which is ultimately what matters. As others have said ignore the car and try to keep a positive mental attitude. Take it easy for a bit and try to enjoy some of the simple pleasures in life.

Here's to a swift recovery.

Thank God you're OK other than the soreness. Really sorry to here about your ride, but even Lexus are replaceable I hope you have a speedy and recovery. As for the car, haven't you been thinking about getting a nice sporty coupe anyway

OMG Doc, glad to hear only your car got seriously injured. As the others have said cars are replaceable but people arn't.

Hear's to a safe winter driving season.

Default I Would Like To Echo Those Sentiments

Doc,
I too am sorry to hear of your loss. But be encouraged...at least you lived to tell about it. That is the most important thing. Try to keep your wits about you, and when you get it together, then you can look into replacing the car.

I hope that you are back on the road soon!
Regards,
GSEREP1

Unhappy oh man:(

Thats horrible man, but i am glad your still ok. Cars can be replaced, but we can't. I am still recovering for a wreck last year, wearing a dang back brace still and doing without a disk and having a cage put in your back makes you count your blessings. Sorry to hear that for real. god bless b

I just talked to the good DrRick to make sure he's ok and he sounded fine.

DrRick - again, really sorry to hear about the accident. For those not in Atlanta, it was pretty rainy/slick here today.

Rick,

So sorry to hear about the accident, but very glad you're OK. Sounds like you were pretty lucky from the description of the wreck.

Take care of yourself, let me know if there's anything I can do.
