98 Wheel bearing replacement...
So I have read on here a few different threads about wheel bearings etc but none with a DIY or anything about it for this car. Well the problem I had was I was getting an oscillating sound like Woo Woo Woo Woo Woo when the steering wheel was turned more than a quarter turn and anything above 20mph.
So I can tell you a few things, I didn't take pictures because I forgot but this is not a job to attempt unless you are quite mechanically inclined. And you will need a few specialized tools to get it replaced such as a minimum of a 20 ton press...
This however is a set of the old ball bearings from the wheel bearing assembly, not too bad these are from the front left side.....HOWEVER, there is some play between each ball and the nylon assembly they are pressed into, and upon closer inspection and after I cleaned the grease off look what I found!:
So as you can see there is about a 1/4 of the totally surface area on the outer casing of the ball that is totally gone.. Anyways replaced the whole bearing assembly, the snap ring, and oil seal and the car is now good to go. If by some stroke of bad luck I have to do the other one since I already have the parts I will take pictures and mod this into a DIY write up.
If anyone has questions feel free to pm me or ask here so everyone can learn!

I don't have any plans to at this point bud, but I can always talk ya through it or answer any questions you might have. Just make sure you have access to a large variety of specialized tools is the first crucial starting point.
