Default Have you ever used 1-800-Radiator, Thoughts?

Hello All,

On Sunday morning was pulling my GS400 into the Golf Course and notice a little steam coming up out of the grill...So I popped the hood and noticed the upper radiator tank thats plastic (Part# 16441) had a hairline crack in it and was bubbling and sprayed the inside of my engine compartment..bummed because I just cleaned the engine recently...Anyways....

My question is - have you ever ordered from an aftermarket Radiator assembly from 1-800-Radiator? I think the part number is 1640046170 and if so how was your experience been so far...please let me know. the dealer wanted $630 bucks just for the radiator assembly and 1-800-Radiator is charging me $230.

Thanks for the input

I have a shop account with them. I get GS radiators for around $120 or so. If they're charging $230 then that's too much. You could also go online and get the rad for around $100. The quality is good, I haven't had any overheating issues so far. I go with them even though the price is $20 higher than online because if I ever have any problem with the rad, they will cover it under warranty without having me to ship all over the country.

I got one from rockauto.com for 100 shipped about 1.5 years ago. It's been working great. I would look there if I were you. Took like 3 days to reach my door.

I used one of their Koyo radiators. I think it was about 140 delivered for my gs3. Excellent fit but ask them for the matching radiator cap cuz my OE did not fit.
