Why the heck did Lexus make the gs300?

the real question to me is why did lexus insist on stopping V8 production?
All other major players in the Sport Sedan game have 6 cylinder options as well as V8 options.
Lexus' new GS only has 6... And most people that want that extra HP would prefer a V8 instead of a hybrid.

If you look at sales figures for the 5 and E a very small percentage are V8 sales. Since the GS sells much fewer units than either of those models in the first place (goal is like 2k per month, E and 5 sell more like 4-5k each), the V8 has no appeal anywhere but here...they axed it.

The question should be, why did Lexus make the Sport Design in only a V6 !!!! All show no go.
A dark gray with saddle leather GS430 in Sport design trim and 5 spoke wheels would be my dream set up.

So you are the type of people I talk about lol. I can't stand when people are going slow and once I try to pass they speed up. Especially if I'm doing cruise control and once I try to pass, it's clear that they have sped up because NOW I have to cancel cruise and speed up to pass.

Well, the speed limit was 65, I was doing 80 - 85 in the fast lane. There is no reason for someone to be 1 car length from my rear bumper at those speeds. Most of the time it's a kid in their "souped up" car buzzing behind me

If you feel like doing 80-85, then what makes it so wrong for someone else to want to do 90-95? And you making them pass on the right makes it more dangerous for all of us. Also maybe they have an emergency, would you want someone to be hogging the "fast" lane if you had an emergency and then when you try to pass them, they won't let you? It's common sense man.
