Default Putting 20" Rims on Lowered GS300

First things first, I spent most of my day at work today reading up on this topic and did not get very far, so yes I did search.

SO here is the situation. I have megan racing EZ coilovers and I am lowered about 1" in the front and 2.5" in the rear. I am going to purchase MRR HR3's (9.5" concaves all the way around). I live in RI and want to have as BIG a tire as possible, even if that means paying a little extra to have wheel wells gutted. Is there anything that I not taking into consideration? Tire suggestions? I was told that the best I could do is 235/45 20.

ANY ADVICE IS APPRECIATED (except to google more, I have exhausted that resource...)!!!

Well first off, if your lowered already and you wanna do 20's you def need to do alil work on all four corners (fender wise) . And honestly I wouldn't go 20s if your complaining about the road already! If you were to get the fenders done you will also have to sacarfise the ride quality. So I'm not too sure what to tell you. Do you have the offsets for the wheels?

And I don't think RI roads are as bad as NYC roads hahhah

It's really all about money you want to spend, your other option if you really want to run those is air suspension.

you really shouldn't use 20" if the roads are bad, max you should use is 19". with 20" the max tire size you can use is 35 series and you might rub because they are over sized already. I'm using 20" with 30 series tires all around, but the roads here aren't too bad, and i am very careful with any kind of dips or man holes on the road.

You can always roll your rear fenders too, or there is DIY for shaving off the inner fender lips.

Bro dont try 45s i think 35 is about it... I got 35 and shaved the rears... Rubbed here and there for about a week on the plastics but no more. ... Or as mentioned get these in 19". RI i would rock 18 with 45s all year

hey i have the same exact wheel, i went with 20/9.5 40 mm all around and i am dropped on the ground. The tires i went with is 225/30 fronts and 245/30 rear. I have the rear shaved so rubbing is not a issue in the rear and besides my wheels camber in lol. MRR does not make 19" i searched it mayb 18" good luck on finding those. 245/35 prob wouldnt be bad on your setup being a 1" low.plus it give it that streched look lol. check this link the 1st pic is how my car stands and its also a side shot and the rest the the pics will show u how low i am and i didnt raise it lol

235/35/20s all around. With 38-40psi. You'll have fender clearance and will look good too.
