I had great experiences with Dunlop Winter SP Sports. I have heard many good things about Blizzacks as well.

Firestone Winterforce on a set of old 16" LS400 rims. Cheap, reliable, don't care about salt damage to rims, and the car doesn't get stuck unless there's so much snow that its belly stuck.

I used Pirelli Winter 210 snowsports the last couple seasons with no problems. This year I'm going to try the Conti DWS tires I just bought.

I've always used blizzaks I bought a brand new set of them last winter because my old ones were getting worn out. But I get through wisconsin winters just fine, going up hill, reversing out of driveways, braking, turning. No problems what so ever.

get BLIZZAKS!

Agreed!

Consumers Reports voted the Michelin Ice-X #1... Maybe it has a little longer treadwear or something, but as far as TRACTION goes, def can NOT go wrong with Blizzaks! (plus, they're made by Bridgestone, which is the brand that the '98-'02 GS430's came with when equipped with the optional 17's)

Over the years I think the Blizzak tires have evolved a little bit though- I mean ALL Blizzak tires will do the trick (assuming they're still near NEW or in good shape) but try to get one of the newer models, ya know?

I have the WS60's...215/50/17 on these little 17 x 7" "Sport Edition" wheels... Works well for me during the (*****TY AS HELL) winter months, here in PA.

Blizzaks it is.im gonna put them on and leave them on till march. Taking them off and on again is to much hassle. Then I will save up for a pair of all season.
