What's a fair price for Stock 17's ?
We just put on some 18's so the stock 17's are going up for sale, not sure what to ask ?
They ride fine, aka no warping or pot hole damage...
I had them redone last year and of course know 3 of them are scrapped up again...
I'd say if somebody sand blasted them and re-painted they'd be fine... just the powdercoat
is flaking where she curbed them...
Still have Michelin tires on them but they are close to the wear bars...
I got pics if somebody wanted to see them...
Thanks,
Mike

5 or 7 spoke wheels?
if need to be redone and no tires aka almost no tread tires
fair price would be around $200 in my option because good condition with good tires can be found for $500-600
i bought is250 17' rims that need to be redone for less $200 but also saw ads for same rims with tires with asking price over $1000 for a set

If the rims are in very good conditions and the tires have plenty of tread remaining, I would expect a set to go for $500-600...
It goes down from there depending on how bad the rims are scuffed and how bald the tires are.

I'm just saying based off the fact that the wheels had been refinished. How bad are they scraped? Beats me. Also, why not leave yourself a little bit of room for negotiation?

Chrome vs. Alloy is a factor as well. Although chrome is not very popular around here for aftermarket wheels it seems chrome stockers are easier to move for a better price. I say $200-250 for cosmetically damaged alloys with usable tires.
Where you are located also plays a role unless you are shipping. Where I live there are lots of people with Lexus vehicles. Many of them need replacements due to damage, can't afford big tires for their 20's any more, want to upgrade to chrome, bought a car with some horrible looking aftermarket wheels, etc. etc. I even see Toyota pick-ups running stock Lexus wheels around here.
The market will always set the price.

wow, didn't mean to crank some folks up over some used wheels I put an ad on Craigslist in NH since I don't have enough posts to do it here ;(
There was an offer and an agreed price, they will be gone on Sunday.
Buyer is a member, they can post what they payed if they want to since we did this thru private pm's.
