Basically my old power steering pump was leaking. My mechanic bought one from discount auto parts and about 3 days in it started to make a rattling noise. The power steering pump that he bought had life time warranty so 2 days ago he took it back to discount autoparts and replaced it with a new one. Now a day after he installed it, I have the rattling noise again.

Pretty much that brand of powersteering pump sucks. The maker is called Fenco.

Has anyone had these issues before with powersteering pumps?

Can someone recommend me a good brand power steering pump that is reliable? Ive already paid my mechanic twice for the labor -.-.... plus your car isnt so vip when there is huge rattling noise lolb


edit: the rattling noise stops the second i move the steering wheel but when i let go of the steering wheel the noice is back

any help?

Make sure he used dextron atf fluid and not actual power steering fluid..

I swapped the fluids out but i still have that problem.. is it too late once power steering is used on the new power steering pump?
