Question Partial / Upper Bra

Bras are not typically my thing, but I am just slightly considering doing just the upper portion of one. See my pic below; this is from 2SAVVY'S GS BTW.

My hood isn't freshly painted or anything, just maybe an extra layer of protection. The black I think looks fine on the Blue also.

I don't know what provoked this thought for me; just somehow popped into my head today.

A Search just brings up 2SAVVY'S thread, and another one about 3M film.

I am considering just the upper portion. Does anyone just sell this, or do most usually buy the whole thing and just install the upper portion?

TIA

I bought mine from Colgan Custom. I'm pretty sure it was called the "Sport Bra".

Below is what they sent me in an email when I posed a question about a year ago. I can't confirm any pricing:

For the 1998 Lexus GS400, we have a two piece original with front license
plate opening (optional),fits with or without fog lights, screen over grille
and air foils: part number PR948. Also available in a carbon fiber look.
We retail all of our originals for $123.09 plus tax to California residents.
We also offer mirror covers (MC829) and sport bra (SB239). For more
information call us at 800-447-2727 ext. 21 or 22. Our hours are
Monday-Friday from 8 to 4:30 pm (PST).

Dex, PAPASMURF has an upper bra on his blue IS. It looks pretty good imo, but not something I would put on my GS. You don't like the idea of 3M or X-Pel?

What about xpel? I know RMMGS4 installed his xpel himself. Maybe you could talk to him on how he did it.

The Xpel/3M route would get my vote. It is more $$ than the sports bra though. I have had bras on previous car but somehow I can't see putting one on my GS. Still, if you like the look of the bra, then go for it. Nothing wrong with it. It is your car afterall.
