hey everyone just wanted to drop a thanks to the members of cl for the information you can see as a guest and to tell everyone that cl may have saved my life. i just bought a 1999 gs 300 and was surfin around on things about it when i hit this site and seen the warnings about the ball joints so i then checked mine and both sides had 2 or more inches of play. i commute 120 miles a day on the interstate that could have been a disaster so just thank you guys so much

right on bro... always good to read up on here and start paying attention to what should be replaced/updated/upgraded. You might want to also take a look at your caster arms and steering rack bushings. Lower/Upper control arms when you can... the upper cost the most. Sewell.com gives you a discount. I ordered all of this at the same time and saved on shipping and had it all installed at the same time saved on installation along with sway bars and other braces. You can do these yourself but some folks just dont have the time.

I did the same thing as MikeFoxx through sewell you get whole sale cost on parts. The car drove so much better after doing all that too

GOD is good, I'm glad you caught the problem.

Just reading about it years ago made me change mine regardless if there was play or not.

Welcome bro.....
