Neema,

One of the members here sells the caliper stickers.

Click here for a link to his old classified

On the color, IMO choose black. There are MANY threads here discussing 'what color to paint caliper stickers'. Suggest doing a search and you'll find a bunch of them with member's opinions and instructions on painting your calipers.

Good luck!

i would say black, that's what i have and i think it looks great. red is just too radical imho. you can do a search on me to see the pics of black calipers. i am not with my computer now but later on i can post pics of my black calipers with white lexus stickers.

which part of cali you in? in south cali there are a lot of shops where you can custom made stickers instantly. and i hate to say, but those stickers should not cost more than $1 each. yes, i am very serious. those stuff are that cheap.

actually i live in the bay area and in the bay area i dont know of any places where they can customize stickers. i really appreciate all of your input, what sucks is that even if i look at a pic its really hard for me to tell what colors match, unfortunately i have a pretty rare form of color blindness in which i cant see any color basically, so i really do appreciate all of your help. thank you

I just got my Caliper Stickers from Ted Chrzanowski.
His E-mail address is: ted920@hotmail.com
For $17 he'll send you the full set. I sent him $20 just because he was a very cool guy to talk to and
he was very prompt in responding and helping me out with any questions I had.
I highly recommend getting in contact with Ted if you want these stickers. He's a great guy to do
business with.

I found some Black 900 degree High-Gloss "Caliper Paint" at Pep Boys.
Wire brushed any rust off then cleaned them really good with Brake Cleaner.
After masking off the Rotors with newspaper and masking tape I sprayed on 4 solid coats.
They came out very nice.

My next project would be to do what rominl said and spray some clear coat over the stickers.

Here are a couple pics of my calipers right after putting the stickers on:

Please check your PM.

You can personally check out the calipers of your local Bay Area CL members.

Thanks!!

Glad to help you out with your decision.

I couldn't find any 900 degree clear coat but I did find some Dupli-Color 500 degree clear coat at Kragens.

The funny thing is, after installing my new rotors and painting the calipers for some reason they barely ever get real hot.

I drove the car hard lastnight on my way to my buddies house. I mean real hard. 120 MPH on freeway off-ramps and coming to a dead stop
at the end and racing from red light to red light and really stressing the brakes.

I got to my friends house and I could easily hold my hand on my calipers as if they were only sitting in the sun for a while. They were warm to the touch but no way 500 degrees let alone 900.

So I think 500 degree clear would work just fine.

it's just umm..... a layer of clear paint on top of the sticker that's all. for protection so the sticker doesn't come off anymore
