Default How to tell if my sub is working (no audio knowledge)

Hey all ill keep it short and sweet, How do i tell if my factory sub is working? i have an 02 gs300 purchased a few months ago with 133k , and i have no knowledge about audio stuff whatsoever. the bass in the car seems good, but not great, so i dont know whether or not the things working. its never really been a big concern to me but id just like to know if the thing WORKS. no plans on replacing or anything. thanks.

Pop in some Biggie smalls... Preferably something from the Ready to Die album... Crank that shiet... Open trunk.... stick your head in... See and feel if the sub moves.. simple enough..

Pop it with a battery. Connect the terminals to a battery and if it moves it works

yeah disconnect the woofer harness and speaker pop with AA battery to see if the woofer move. another way is to use a digital multimeter using on ohms to check its resistance, around 2 or 4 ohms is good, if its 0 with the harness unplugged the woofer is shorted out.
